Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy uses essential oils to help restore better health both physically and mentally. Essential oils are plant-based and are extracted from all parts of the plant. Combining aromatherapy with massage is beneficial for the body as, whilst the massage offers relief from any tension in the muscles, the individually-made blend of essential oils used will encourage the body's natural healing abilities.
Essential oil blends can also be prepared for individual use in the home. They can be used for inhalation, compresses and also for aromatic bathing. Aromatherapy can aid relaxation, reduce stress and therefore improve general well-being. It is helpful for headaches, asthma, reducing high blood pressure, IBS, psoriasis, menstrual problems, indigestion, depression, anxiety, colds and flu.
