Counselling & Psychotherapy
Counselling can help at times in our lives when we are struggling to deal with our emotions, thoughts and feelings. Challenges and difficulties can arise at any time in our lives and although we can deal very capably with them much of the time, at others, it may become too much for us to cope with and understand. The impact can be felt on all aspects of our lives; work, family and friends.
Counselling is about helping you to make your own decisions, so that you feel stronger and more in control of your own life. It is an opportunity to talk to someone who will not judge you about what has happened (or is still happening), how it is affecting you and what you want to do next.
Jemma is a fully qualified and registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and works from a person-centred approach, allowing you to remain in control of the direction of your therapy. There are many issues that can be worked through within counselling but some of these include bereavement or loss, stress or anxiety, anger management and relationship difficulties.
Jemma offers a reduced rate for an initial consultation to give you an opportunity to meet her, talk about some of the issues that have been troubling you and ensure that you are happy with your choice of therapist.
