Our Therapists and Practitioners
I qualified as an osteopath in 2001 after 4 years training at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent. I decided to become an osteopath after being treated for various minor problems arising from endless hours in a car as a driving instructor. I found the process of treatment fascinating. The good news is that I still do!
I set up The Clinic on the Green in 2003. I wanted to create a place to work with other therapists so that we could offer a range of therapies to fully support the well-being of our clients. Through working together we endeavour to offer the possibility of optimum health and treat the person as a whole and not just treating the symptoms they present.
HPC/State Registered Chiropodist - Chiropody and Podiatry
I qualified with a Podiatry degree from Salford University in 1994. I have worked around Norwich and Norfolk since 1995, both in NHS clinics and in private practice.
I can treat a variety of foot problems such as troublesome nails and callus, athlete's foot and verrucae. I also have many years of experience of treating aches and pains in the feet or legs due to the position of the foot and leg during walking or running. I look at the position of the feet during walking (gait analysis) and formulate a clinical picture based around the history of the problem, other relevant health issues, and the range of movement in joints and muscle powers (biomechanics).
I work with the team at The Clinic on the Green for one day a week, the rest of the time I work as the Podiatry clinical lead in biomechanics for the NHS in Great Yarmouth.
I completed my three year training at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture in 2001 and have been working in Norwich as a full time practitioner ever since. Prior to that I worked as a therapeutic masseur but, when I developed a repetitive strain injury, I found acupuncture was the only treatment that worked for me. Subsequently I went on to have a course of acupuncture for general well-being and I was hooked.
I'm happy to focus on a single symptom, such as back pain or anxiety but my preferred approach tends towards the holistic. As a traditional acupuncturist I take the view that body and mind are part of a continuum and therefore one cannot treat one without affecting the other.
I am more than willing to talk on the phone about what I can offer and whether it might suit. I would also be happy to liaise with your GP and any other therapists involved in your care.
I am thoroughly delighted to join the team here at The Clinic on the Green in such pleasant surroundings.
I decided to follow a career as an osteopath after successfully being treated by a local osteopath for a neck problem.
I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1992 and have been practising in Norfolk ever since. I joined The Clinic on the Green in 2004 after being at the Queens Square Surgery in Attleborough for 15 years.
I use a combination of manipulation, massage and cranial techniques to realign the spine as a whole. I tailor my treatments according to the patient's needs, whilst endeavouring to achieve optimum results.
In 2003 I had a single hypnotherapy session to help me stop smoking– a habit I had allowed to rule my life for 25 years. That one hypnotherapy session got me off the cigarettes for good and gave me my freedom back.
I was so impressed with the positive results I had experienced, it led me to The Anglia School of Hypnotherapy, where in 2012, I gained the Master Practitioner Diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy and NLP.
Problems which respond well to Hypnotherapy include: weight loss, smoking cessation, fears and phobias, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, anxiety and stress, relationship issues, obsessive compulsive disorder, irritable bowel syndrome, nail biting and other unwanted habits. I also specialise in reducing anxiety during pregnancy and childbirth.
If you feel ready to move on from a problem or a habit which is inhibiting your enjoyment of life... Speak to reception to book a free half hour confidential, no obligation consultation. I look forward to meeting you soon.
I have been working as a Beauty / Holistic Therapist since 1999. I trained at West Suffolk College, where I studied NVQ2 Beauty, Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage.
During the last 10 years I have gained extensive salon experience, working as a Therapist at Center Parcs Aqua Sana, a renowned top spa resort and working my way up to Assistant Manager.
I decided to start working for myself in 2004 and reduced my hours at Center Parcs to enable me to pursue this. I am dedicated to providing top quality treatments and customer satisfaction. I use Decléor products and have been working with this excellent range most of my career. Decléor use plant and aromatherapy technology in their products and provide some truly unique treatments to complement the range.
In 1995 I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist working within NHS hospitals, GP's surgeries and private practice. Throughout this time, I have learned many techniques. I use mainly hands-on treatments using trigger points, soft tissue massage and Home exercise programmes, as I find these to be most effective. I also use Electrotherapy, Ultrasound and Acupuncture for pain relief.
With 15yrs experience I endeavour to make a difference in the acute phase. More importantly I intend to bring your attention to how you move, therefore aiding prevention of further injury.
I treat the symptoms, but also look for the cause. In today's world, we are all very busy, but by looking at what you do and how you do it, you can often make simple changes to decrease any pain and increase bodily function. In 2001 I began practising from the Tote Therapy Practise in Banham and have now moved premises to join the team here at The Clinic on the Green.
Committed to 'walking the talk', Beverley lives with the knowing that how we choose to live on a daily basis, has a direct effect on our personal well-being.
Every action, thought or deed has within it the potential to either harm or to heal ourselves, or others. On this premise Beverley chooses to live in a way that supports her well-being, making choices from a foundation of true self-care and self-responsibility.
In 2008 Beverley's dedication to 'walking the talk' deepened with the introduction of the presentations and healing modalities from Universal Medicine. Beverley feels, and understands from her own experience, that to truly offer support to another, it is paramount to have a daily livingness of self-care and self-responsibility along with energetic integrity. Without firstly adopting this way of living/being, there is no true foundation for support of another.
It is from this foundation of self-care that Beverley offers these Esoteric Healing modalities, which complement modern medicine with the personal responsibility to fully explore the root cause of the discomfort, dis-ease or illness that is being experienced.
(Please see individual information below for more details of the Esoteric Modalities offered, or call reception to book a 30 minute taster session, charged at £10)
My first experience with homeopathy was in 1993 in France and, being a natural scientist, I was at first challenged by its principles and abandoned it. I later used homeopathy myself and finally decided to study it. I graduated from the Norwich College of Homeopathy in 2009. I also hold a clinic in Norwich.
Homeopathy is an holistic medical system, focusing on specific physical and emotional symptoms which are highly individual. I use well established homeopathic methodologies and my analysis is built on information from the patient who describes their condition, emotions and sensations. A full medical history is also taken into account. I provide the prescribed homeopathic medication in order to elevate the patient's life energy. I never recommend that the using of prescribed or other orthodox medicines be stopped.
Homeopathy is part of integrated and holistic medicine. The use of integrated medicine is your personal choice. The homeopathic medications are beneficial for good health in the environment and hectic lifestyle of the 21st century. A wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions respond well to homeopathy.
I joined the team here at The Clinic on the Green in February 2011.
After working in the Motor Industry for over 10 years, I decided I wanted a more fulfilling career. Over the years I have seen so many people being held back from their full potential by their own limiting beliefs. I knew I could make a positive change to people's lives by helping them to help themselves live the life they deserved. I studied for a professional Diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy at Brighton University. I also studied at The Coaches Training Institute and completed the Fundamentals Coaching Course. I have an NLP (Neuro-Linguistics Programming) Master qualification and have also qualified as an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Level 3 Practitioner.
I specialise in treating PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and phobias in a fast and very effective way. I work with adults and children with Personality and Dissociative Disorder. I treat a wide range of unwanted behaviours including smoking cessation, over-eating and weight loss, depression and anxiety. I can aid pain relief and really motivate and inspire your sports and business performance. See my website for further details.
I offer a free initial consultation which is entirely confidential and without obligation, so if you have anything you would like to change in your life, please book an appointment to discuss whether I can help you. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
I have always held an interest in beauty treatments and therapies. I trained at the Sussex Coast College in East Sussex in Beauty Therapy to NVQ Level 3.
Whilst at college I continued to attend lots of outside courses on my days off to expand on my qualifications. I have completed professional training with 3 different skincare companies, and have also attended a course in the original ST.TROPEZ tanning method. At the end of my level 2 course I was chosen to be awarded with the Beauty Therapy student of the year trophy! I have a diploma in Threading Depilation, Spray Tanning, Body wraps, and a certificate in Advanced Waxing. I also trained in various different massage methods including "Massage during Pregnancy".
Upon leaving college I have gained experience by working in some of the UK's leading spas, East Sussex National Golf Resort and Spa and the Aqua Sana Spa at Center Parks. I am trained in all aspects of Beauty Therapy including manicure, pedicure, waxing, Decléor beauty and body treatments and Lava Shells Massage. I am thrilled to be working at The Clinic on the Green as part of the team here.
