Our Therapists and Practitioners

I qualified as an osteopath in 2001 after 4 years training at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, Kent. I decided to become an osteopath after being treated for various minor problems arising from endless hours in a car as a driving instructor. I found the process of treatment fascinating. The good news is that I still do!
I set up The Clinic on the Green in 2003. I wanted to create a place to work with other therapists so that we could offer a range of therapies to fully support the well-being of our clients. Through working together we endeavour to offer the possibility of optimum health and treat the person as a whole and not just treating the symptoms they present.
HPC/State Registered Chiropodist - Chiropody and Podiatry

I qualified with a Podiatry degree from Salford University in 1994. I have worked around Norwich and Norfolk since 1995, both in NHS clinics and in private practice.
I can treat a variety of foot problems such as troublesome nails and callus, athlete's foot and verrucae. I also have many years of experience of treating aches and pains in the feet or legs due to the position of the foot and leg during walking or running. I look at the position of the feet during walking (gait analysis) and formulate a clinical picture based around the history of the problem, other relevant health issues, and the range of movement in joints and muscle powers (biomechanics).
I work with the team at The Clinic on the Green for one day a week, the rest of the time I work as the Podiatry clinical lead in biomechanics for the NHS in Great Yarmouth.

I completed my three year training at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture in 2001 and have been working in Norwich as a full time practitioner ever since. Prior to that I worked as a therapeutic masseur but, when I developed a repetitive strain injury, I found acupuncture was the only treatment that worked for me. Subsequently I went on to have a course of acupuncture for general well-being and I was hooked.
I'm happy to focus on a single symptom, such as back pain or anxiety but my preferred approach tends towards the holistic. As a traditional acupuncturist I take the view that body and mind are part of a continuum and therefore one cannot treat one without affecting the other.
I am more than willing to talk on the phone about what I can offer and whether it might suit. I would also be happy to liaise with your GP and any other therapists involved in your care.
I am thoroughly delighted to join the team here at The Clinic on the Green in such pleasant surroundings.

I decided to follow a career as an osteopath after successfully being treated by a local osteopath for a neck problem.
I graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1992 and have been practising in Norfolk ever since. I joined The Clinic on the Green in 2004 after being at the Queens Square Surgery in Attleborough for 15 years.
I use a combination of manipulation, massage and cranial techniques to realign the spine as a whole. I tailor my treatments according to the patient's needs, whilst endeavouring to achieve optimum results.

I am a fully qualified and insured nutritional therapist. I trained for 4 years at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in London, studying nutrition from both a holistic and scientific perspective. I am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists, requiring me to abide by a strict code of ethics. I also work as a primary school teacher.
I was 19 when I first discovered the impact that nutrition can have on health; by making simple changes to my diet and by taking key supplements, my debilitating PMS symptoms virtually disappeared. Ever since, I have been passionate about researching the positive role nutrition and healthy eating can play in promoting optimum physical and mental health.
As a nutritional therapist, my key aim is to motivate and empower you to make achievable dietary and lifestyle changes to help prevent and overcome health problems. I enjoy making my in-depth nutritional knowledge accessible to all and passing on my passion for cooking natural, healthy and delicious food.
Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy

I am a graduate of psychology and I hold an Advanced Diploma in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. I am a member of the International Association of Pure Hypnotherapists and, over the years, I have worked with many recognised experts in the field of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and hypnosis. I was one of the first to receive an advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the IAPH, having demonstrated to their council of management that I have the necessary skills and experience to be practising at an advanced level.
I specialise in the resolution of emotional problems such as phobias, anxieties and other psychological difficulties. I also offer Smoking Cessation for people who are serious about wanting to quit smoking permanently.
I am pleased to offer a complimentary 30 minute assessment consultation, where we can meet and discuss your issues confidentially. I also offer treatment to children and can offer help with sports enhancement.

I have been working as a Beauty / Holistic Therapist since 1999. I trained at West Suffolk College, where I studied NVQ2 Beauty, Anatomy & Physiology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage.
During the last 10 years I have gained extensive salon experience, working as a Therapist at Center Parcs Aqua Sana, a renowned top spa resort and working my way up to Assistant Manager.
I decided to start working for myself in 2004 and reduced my hours at Center Parcs to enable me to pursue this. I am dedicated to providing top quality treatments and customer satisfaction. I use Decléor products and have been working with this excellent range most of my career. Decléor use plant and aromatherapy technology in their products and provide some truly unique treatments to complement the range.

In 1995 I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist working within NHS hospitals, GP's surgeries and private practice. Throughout this time, I have learned many techniques. I use mainly hands-on treatments using trigger points, soft tissue massage and Home exercise programmes, as I find these to be most effective. I also use Electrotherapy, Ultrasound and Acupuncture for pain relief.
With 15yrs experience I endeavour to make a difference in the acute phase. More importantly I intend to bring your attention to how you move, therefore aiding prevention of further injury.
I treat the symptoms, but also look for the cause. In today's world, we are all very busy, but by looking at what you do and how you do it, you can often make simple changes to decrease any pain and increase bodily function. In 2001 I began practising from the Tote Therapy Practise in Banham and have now moved premises to join the team here at The Clinic on the Green.

I have always held an interest in the healing of the body as a whole and always felt that a vital part of "true healing" is to not just look at the presenting symptoms, but to explore the possible reason why we have created such a disturbance within our physical body.
This interest has led me to Esoteric Healing, based on The Ancient Wisdom and presented by Serge Benhayon of Universal Medicine.
Everything is energy and everything is because of energy. With this scientific fact we can explore the disharmonious energy that is causing diseases and adverse emotional states and take steps to remove it.
An Esoteric (inner-most) Healing session is a gentle hands on healing that offers the opportunity for you to release the build up of disharmonious energy, therefore leaving the body in a more harmonious state.
I endeavour to consistently be a student of energetic awareness, by choosing to live in a more harmonious way, and continue this awareness within my daily living.

My first experience with homeopathy was in 1993 in France and, being a natural scientist, I was at first challenged by its principles and abandoned it. I later used homeopathy myself and finally decided to study it. I graduated from the Norwich College of Homeopathy in 2009. I also hold a clinic in Norwich.
Homeopathy is an holistic medical system, focusing on specific physical and emotional symptoms which are highly individual. I use well established homeopathic methodologies and my analysis is built on information from the patient who describes their condition, emotions and sensations. A full medical history is also taken into account. I provide the prescribed homeopathic medication in order to elevate the patient's life energy. I never recommend that the using of prescribed or other orthodox medicines be stopped.
Homeopathy is part of integrated and holistic medicine. The use of integrated medicine is your personal choice. The homeopathic medications are beneficial for good health in the environment and hectic lifestyle of the 21st century. A wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions respond well to homeopathy.
I joined the team here at The Clinic on the Green in February 2011.

I am a fully qualified and registered integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, having trained at the University of East Anglia. I continue to research, learn and discover new approaches to Counselling for the benefit of my clients and also for personal growth and development.
Challenges and changes occur throughout our lives and although we can often deal very capably with them, at some point these can become too much for us to cope with and understand. The impact can be felt on all aspects of our lives; work, family and friends.
Counselling can help at these times. It is an opportunity to be able to talk openly and freely to someone who will not judge you to enable you to explore these feelings and emotions allowing you to understand them, regain control and move forward with your life.
Choosing the right therapist for your needs is important and so I am pleased to be able to offer a reduced rate for an initial consultation so you have the opportunity to see whether we can work together on the issues that have been troubling you and to establish whether counselling is right for you. Everything discussed in our sessions together is entirely confidential.

I have always held an interest in beauty treatments and therapies. I trained at the Sussex Coast College in East Sussex in Beauty Therapy to NVQ Level 3.
Whilst at college I continued to attend lots of outside courses on my days off to expand on my qualifications. I have completed professional training with 3 different skincare companies, and have also attended a course in the original ST.TROPEZ tanning method. At the end of my level 2 course I was chosen to be awarded with the Beauty Therapy student of the year trophy! I have a diploma in Threading Depilation, Spray Tanning, Body wraps, and a certificate in Advanced Waxing. I also trained in various different massage methods including "Massage during Pregnancy".
Upon leaving college I have gained experience by working in some of the UK's leading spa's, East Sussex National Golf Resort and Spa and the Aqua Sana Spa at Center Parks. I am trained in all aspects of Beauty Therapy including manicure, pedicure, waxing, Decléor beauty and body treatments and Lava Shells Massage. I am thrilled to be working at The Clinic on the Green as part of the team here.
